Branch of the Republican Jewish Library in the course of preparation
to Hanukah presented an exhibition "December - the Month of
Hanukah". It demonstrated the material about Hanukah history and
tradition available in the library.
The exhibition included brochures, press-cuttings, entries
form the Jewish encyclopedia, and books about the holiday. The exhibition
helped the community to find answers to all their questions about the
holiday ceremony, customs etc.
Besides for the exhibition the library provides assistance
to clubs and other Hesed programs in selecting materials for Hanukah.
The library staff and volunteers arrange discussions about the holiday.
