In Hesed "Polina" hall the opening of original artist from Kokshetau, Lydia Vlasenko’s exhibition took place. The part of author’s works on Biblical plot item, Jewish traditions and holidays topic, were represented on the exhibition. All her works distinguish by rare nowadays technique of execution - embroidery in satin-stitch.

The artist began to embroider in her sixty years. In 1999 she was invited to Almaty for First National Female Fair of Ideas and Goods "Inspired Woman". Also she actively participated in all towns’ regional exhibitions conducted in North Kazakhstan region; she has deeds, diplomas for participation in competitions. During 10 years which Lydia practices this kind of creation, she made more than 300 pictures.
Nevertheless it was workday more than 40 persons came in Hesed to get acquainted with artist and her works. Plots of the pictures were gladdening with variety. It was possible to see landscapes and portraits on the walls of Hesed hall and from other pictures Torah heroes smiled to you. All the guests got an opportunity to talk with artist and ask her all the interested questions.
There was Lydia Vlasenko’s colleague, artist, Yuri Shnaiderman, on the soiree. He congratulated kokchetavian guest, with all his heart and wished her further creative success. Director of Hesed "Polina", Nataliya Dorman, leader of JCC "Rimon" club programs, Galina Lipker, Republican Jewish Library Coordinator, Galina Korobkina also congratulated the artist
At the end of the meeting Lydia’s eyes shone with tears of gladness.
- I will never forget your Hesed – the artist said at parting.
