Volunteers of Hesed got a perfect gift. For diligent and disinterested work they were awarded with seven-day rest in sanatorium "Nauryz", which is located in a most beautiful place, in foothills of Zailiysk Alatau, close Almaty. This trip was dated for the international day of "Volunteer's movement ", which is marked all over the world on December 5.
We were met very kindly. We and earlier stayed in this sanatorium. All our seminars and holidays are conducted here. Absolutely recently we conducted in this most beautiful territory Sukkoth. On the first day of our arrival the people have visited on reception at the doctor, which nominated everybody the necessary treatment: massage, electro treatment, hydro massage, mud bath, bath, circular douche, everybody drunk medicinal tea. Taking into account age of our volunteers - from 65 till 85 years, everybody was placed on the bottom floors. There were 32 persons on vacation, among us there was 5 family pair, all of them are our volunteers, work by amicably families, their children and grandsons also help us very much - make volunteer's work, such a perfect people we have. On this rest we have taken most worthy. In general here are cozy, spacious rooms, from each one there is an exit on a balcony. From balconies opens the wonderful view on mountains, show is perfect. In each room there are bath room, toilet, refrigerator, TV set, telephone. In sanatorium is five-time meal. The next morning, having woken up, we appeared in a snow fairy tale. During night a lot of snow has dropped out which with thick shaggy coverlet covered all the ground. And how looked the fur-trees which are a lot of on a territory of sanatorium! The snow on them laid branchy white boughs, shining and being poured on the sun. It was a wonderful solar day. Everybody not arranging, went out in street to admire this beauty. Many of us have children and grandsons in Israel and everybody wanted to embody this wonderful winter picture to send photos to native. They wanted to remind them beauty of our winter nature. On Friday we conducted Shabbat. We have moved tables and in addition to supper put drinks, fruit, and sweetness. The table has turned out plentiful and very beautiful. The mood at all was perfect, we sang our volunteer's songs (text was distributed to everybody), read verses, and told jokes. There were many gratifying words for the given rest to address of management of Hesed. The next day we made "Evening of an old plate". All with pleasure sang songs of our youth, danced, it was very interesting. It was necessary to see the faces of the people, which have changed, became younger, have reset as a minimum about 20 years. We joked, had fun, and nobody wanted to miss, but the mode is a mode. The days of rest have flown imperceptibly. Everybody would like to prolong this charm. We have parted reluctantly, but everything good at one time comes to an end and our rest has finished. The large thank to a management of Hesed for that fairy tale, in which we all were. |
