Each year in Karaganda at the end of February gathering club of veterans "Gibor", working in Jewish Community Centre "Shamash". Fathers celebrate ceased to exist officially, but still living in hearts of the senior generation a holiday - Soviet Army Day.
For the majority of the members of club "Gibor" Soviet Army Day is first of all memory of the comrades which have not come back from a field of battle. Therefore this day it is important to the veterans to be going together and to recollect fearlessness the soldier more than once saving millions of the people.
Unfortunately, with each year there are less people at a round table in club "Gibor". Even more often give about it to know old wounds, and it is necessary to address to the doctors. But the veterans do not surrender, helps carried by through one year childish fervour and military bearing.
This year the February meeting of the veterans passed in Community Centre. Recollected the friends, with which were at war, and with whom celebrated this holiday already in the Jewish community. Have recollected battle monotony.
To all members of club "Gibor" on behalf of the Jewish community of Karaganda were presented flowers and cards. And at the end of evenings the veterans sang old military songs, and as always long did not want to leave from Community centre.
