Traditional excursion of a community along the Jewish places of Astana yesterday was held which not the first year already opens Community Festival of Jewish Book. There have gone the most active adults and children of our Community Center. The guide told about sights, both old, and new parts of city. Also thanked a community that they - inhabitants of Astana - do not cease to learn new, and to reproduce in memory old images of city. In it and is concealed a history of creation of Tzelinograd, Akmola and present Astana.
Most of all, especially children, liked in Palace of Peace and Consent which was opened year ago. The project of this unusual building belongs to the known architect Normann Foster.
Then the members of a community visited at an exhibition, where they could see an exposition, which included works of Levitan and Shagal.
The three-hour excursion was very sated. But most important is that it was interesting to all generations of a community.
Since this moment CFJB-2007 in Astana it is possible to consider open. All clubs, circles of Community Center and Hesed during one month will be carried out under aegis of a Festival.
