In September at schools of Karaganda was conducted Day of languages. Each class represented, some ethnos, told about its traditions, language, sang songs, read verses. And who will tell to children, and will help to organize similar performance, better than the representatives of the national-cultural centre?
Not for the first year already to Jewish Community Center addresses the teacher of a boarding school for physically challenged children. Her class again decided to tell everybody about the Jewish people. About this year the acquaintance of JCC with children from a boarding school was in their absence. The centre offered the books, posters, calendars and thus acquainted the guys with customs. And this year the schoolchildren came on excursion in Community Center "Shamash". Certainly, not all children could come, as it is difficult for them to move independently.
The guys with interest examined pictures of the coevals - pupils of "Shamash", Jewish library, listened to the story about a community of city Karaganda. Having found out, for what at the centre stands Tzdaka, instantly threw there some coins. These children as anybody understand as far as important to help those one who requires attention and support.
And after the excursion on the centre the guys tasted apples with honey and were very glad to gifts, which to them transferred Valentina Kuznetsova, chief of the program Etgar. The meeting passed in warm conditions. The guys have asked to arrive to them to school with a concert, it is interesting to them to get acquainted with children from Jewish Community Center "Shamash" and to make friends with them.
