Hesed - Astana lives its life, as well as always. The help of any kind is rendered to our clients, the members and visitors participate in public life, but sometimes moments happen, which are especially pleasant - as a rule, if the new man comes, and especially talented!!! I shall tell you about one of last such cases.
We prepare for the next meeting of Tsarina Saturday. By our tradition before Shabbat one of volunteers comes for the help in preparation of dishes, laying the table. A happy case this time fell to lot of volunteer Nina Levina. Called up her for greater reliance, that the man remembers and will come: "Yes, everything, as always, of course I’ll come!" - I hear on that side of a telephone wire. It seemed to me a little and I, already in which times, began to insist taking the floor of Nina at Hesed. She is woman with music education with the huge experience of work at musical school of Astana as the teacher and accompanist. Take the floor whether hesitates, whether does not want, at least she did not give answer. Once, the truth, succeed to persuade Nina to Take the floor on the Teacher day - and then come lull.
Let's return to telephone conversation - it was audible, as man already almost ready to say "yes", but probably, unrest and professional desire to take the floor only very well, instead of simply good, prevented to lift a white flag and to agree with the offer, to play anything the piano for public of JCC. Thank goodness, the instrument was attuned last year, put to rights, and while important of violations in work devoted to us the piano did not happen. I speak: "Nina, for whom we have the piano at Hesed? You can safely reach tomorrow earlier, to warm up, properly. All for you!" - "Oh. I do not know. I shall think about repertoire" like as she agreed. I was glad, but the shadow of doubt did not leave me, until the Friday came.
To everyone's surprise Nina came not alone. On a threshold behind her appeared the pleasant woman and beautiful girl with violin in a cover. It was appeared, the pleasant woman - Victoria Boeiko - teacher of play the violin at musical school, and Nadya Lifanova is her schoolgirl, who, having finished here school on a class of violin, successfully she entered at college at a conservatory in Moscow and, having closed the first session with only one four she arrived on a vacation to the parents and, certainly, to the favorite teacher, to which she is grateful and indebted to her so much. What image they appeared at us? All is very simple!!!
Nina worked as concertmaster in a class of Victoria. And together they worked side by side at musical school by Peter Tchaikovsky #1 of Astana since 1964, thus combined record of service of these women is equal about 30 years.
That Thursday already after our telephone conversation Nina had an idea to invite Moscow student with her teacher as volunteers or better to say, visitors! And she, not long thinking, rung up with the colleague, Nadya and, as appeared, to all the idea of performance in subsidiary of Republican Jewish Public Association in capital of Kazakhstan was stroke a chard. In the evening they had time to meet, to rehearse some musical compositions, recasted a hymn of Israel "Hatikva" (translation from Hebrew "Hope"), "Hava nagiva", "Shalom Aleihem" for solo of the violin and the piano. Whether this is work?!
Our public came on meeting of Saturday. And here imagine such surprise?! There are no words!
Nadejda with Nina performed various musical compositions: and on this Shabbat sounded both Jewish melodies, and many classical musical compositions. It was sounded "Melody" by Antonin Dvorjak, which especially touched of souls' strings of coming. The applause at a concert hall was sounded louder and louder. And after such performance Shabbat songs sounded very vividly in our own performance. The peak of surprises came for Shabbat, when Nina Alexandrovna gave to us sheets with lines unknown songs: "Our rabbi had daughter Enta. Such adaptable, as a silk tape, such clean, as washed dishes, such clever, as hundred volumes of Talmud". Nina Alexandrovna sat down a piano and having struck keys, began to play "Argentina tango ", and on its motive all Community Centre begun to sing playful words. It was simple to make it; you see it is Tango, well-known to all!!! The man's part of our company in complete force had shown their vocal abilities. They sang as never, this Saturday. It's great!
Indeed, when you receive such kind and vigorous supply of energy, it would be desirable to give in substitution more!!!
All acting were made presents to the grateful applause - "Secrets of the Jewish wise men" - splendid book, which is in great demand at our community. There it is possible to read wise sayings of rabbis of different centuries and to comprehend, to use in modern life.
It is especially pleasant, that acting was not less glad to the given holiday, and on the offer to make some concert at Hesed, while Nadegda does not leave, they nod approvingly.
The next week we prepare already concert amplitudinous - will be more both numbers and acting. Besides violoncello, to the accompaniment will sound a little piano's compositions in four hands, vocal numbers - we rehearse each day the new ideas come constantly, around all is heaped up with the notes, musical notebooks - present creative disorder! A rush!

The program promises to be rich. We hope that all will be on 200 %.
Here is how after told to not believe, what volunteer is not a simply beautiful word?!
And may be, it is simple to all of us pleasantly to see, to know, to feel, that there is a certain company of the people, the community, diaspora, society - is not important, which are friends inside " of their space ". And if you get there in the first time - you will accept, and you, in turn, very much want to be there, with them - to see friendship, sincerity, pleasure and you want to stay here for ever.
Victoria was invited to our circles, clubs - that she waited all holiday, in what she toll the truth later. And we are glad!!! For us it is a maximum praise, when the cultured man aspires to us!
We expressed huge gratitude to Victoria Boeiko, Nadegda Lifanova, which we wished creative successes, and, especially, to Nina Alexandrovna Levina for this splendid impromptu, organization and help in holding of colorful meeting of Shabbat!!!
