Karaganda Hesed Miriam is implementing the Project "This Wonderful World" financed by the First President Fund. The project is aimed at developing creative abilities of children of different ages and ethnicities. We hope this project will help to spark creativity in the young creators that will develop into excellent skills in future.
Talents need to be supported. If classes are organized in a fun way the results will be quick. This is proved by children’s opinions. Anya Polikarpova, 8-year old, is sharing her impressions, "I like it very much to study here.
It is a lot of fun. We are making handicrafts by ourselves. We draw, mold, and always use our imagination."
Different children are bending their blond, ginger, and dark heads over the table. It is very moving to see how their creativity is being formed; their spirituality is being strengthened… As Mila Tim wrote in her poem and Teacher Olga Bragina recited at the beginning of the class, "The soul is like a big multi-colored Firebird."
Unfortunately, children do not always have this kind of support in their everyday lives. While non-fulfilled creativity may lead to personal tragedies. The First President Fund allocates grants to take care of the younger generation and inspire it for new creative achievements.
Within a few months children have learned the basics of sculpture and learned how to mold different animals including worms, horses, giraffes, tigers, and hairs. Amazing children’s creativity results in beautiful graphic works. The art classes include a lot of bright visual aids, demonstration materials, valuable advice from teachers, and training video materials on big screen.
At the first class on aquarelle the kids produced lot’s of flower beds on their pieces of paper. These were most unpredictable dandelions, lilies, bluets, roses, and chamomiles. The same flowers appeared in most creative ways on children’s tee shorts, dresses, trousers, hands, legs, and even faces. The paint can be washed out but the infinity of creativity will stay in their souls forever.
"I would never think that a teacher can teach with joy and fun" - reveals Selvy Meiramova.
"It is wonderful that such funds exist in our country, allocate grants aimed at development of the growing generation of Kazakhstanis. I am very happy that we have this opportunity now. I would like to develop my children’s creativity in future as well." - Mother of two sons Yulia Bordok shared her opinion.
Elder students not just shared their opinion. They analyzed the situation. Sholpan Kaliyeva wrote, "I am very glad to participate in this useful event. First, the classes open creative potential, second, the children are engaged in useful activities, third, this is free of charge and accessible for all children. The idea is great and it is very nice that it is financed by the First President Fund."
We are glad that Jewish People united this cheerful multi-ethnical team. Those who have gone through sufferings and challenges are always ready to open their loving hearts to others. Shalom to every visitor! We are together on the way to happy future!
