HELLO SCHOOL!

Pavlodar 07.09.10

The new academic year has started. Whether it will be successful, it depends on how the kids got rested in summer, what they had learned, what trips had made, friends had met, improved health and what mood they have to start a new academic year.

Our children were never bored during the summer. At the beginning, they were getting ready for the Festival in Karaganda. All their efforts were devoted to the upcoming trip. When they came back home from the festival they could finally relax and enjoy their summer vacation including meeting friends, hanging around the city, and going to the swimming pool.

The Children Initiative Program presented 50 children with school supplies that they will definitely need during the new academic year!

This year we held our traditional holiday "Hello School!" in the children’s entertainment center "Karabas". Children of three generations came together: preschool children, first graders and experienced students. Older children congratulated first graders with the beginning of their way for knowledge, told about all challengers and joys that wait for them at school, this difficult but exciting world of discoveries. The youngest were glad that they still have a couple years of carefree playing before they go to school. We had sweet cocktails, a cake, fruit salad, and many other deserts, and then there was an exciting labyrinth game and car racing. It was a great holiday.

Children will be going to school, but after classes they will come to Hesed to attend our Children’s Day Center. They can do their homework here, pulling up on difficult school subjects, and continue learning Jewish traditions. It is been always a priority for our People to give a good education to our children.

We wish our children to have a good new academic year and success in getting new knowledge!
