The year 2011 is anniversary twentieth year of Independence of Republic Kazakhstan and also one of the main sponsors of Jewish life all over the world, “Joint” celebrates 20th anniversary of its activity in Kazakhstan. "Joint" regional managers Izhak Averbuch and Ilana Levi making their appearance in the conference summed up the organization’s work and also made new strategies of activity. The reports made by "Hesed" directors Svetlana Makarovskaya and Elena Levina summed up their work in 2010 and caused an audience great interest.
The second day of conference was devoted to work and budget scheduling for "Heseds" in 2011.
The problems of programs "Home care", the children's initiative, medical and youth programs were discussed. Last topic caused brisk discussion as the question “How to interest young people?” remains sharp both for big cities with a numerous Jewish community, and for small settlements.
The final day began with discussion on the round table devoted to strategy of communal programs.
The activity expansion, involving in communal work not only socially-unsuccessful people, but also active members is the nearest priorities of development.
Also not less important is a problem of messianic organizations about which activity the head of educational projects of Association "Mitsva" Alexander Abramovich made his report.
"If communities are not engaged in the Jewish education we would come up against a situation when opponents would be more competent of our history and classical Jewish texts", Abramovich considers.
The Annual Conference of Jewish organization of Republic Kazakhstan has passed in atmosphere of active work and unity. Summing up, the chairman of conference Alexander Baron has sounded the thought that was red thread passing through all performances. It’s the necessity of revival at qualitatively new level of communal methods of work. For the Jewish diaspora the Republic Kazakhstan is home where the Jewish organizations continue to develop and involve new members.
