 Vladimir
Semchuk was born on February 23, 1965 in Almaty region.
In 1982 he entered nautical school of Ministry of Fish Industry
in Vladivostok and graduated in 1985. He worked as a mate on watercrafts.
Vladimir has visited many countries and was on the world tour.
He began to photograph in the nautical school. Since then
his camera has always been with him.
Vladimir is the one who has been keeping the photo-chronicle
of the Jewish community for several years.
His photos strike with their inner radiance and warmth. You
can see them in "Davar" newspaper and in the archive of our
web site.
Vladimir's photo-exhibitions have been presented in Hesed
"Polina" many times. Their subjects are various: picture stories
of holidays, presentations, festivals, seminars, and conferences.
