 Why
women are gathering? At the least they gather to discuss their problems and
to remember about their importance in general and the role of Jewish woman particularly.
No Shabbat can do without fairy sex.
Thus, for their next meeting members of Women's Club gathered on
Kabbalat Shabbat on 16 March. Marina Vikhlyayeva lighted the candles, said prayers,
told about Shabbat traditions: why and how to celebrate it at home; and that
Shabbat - the only holiday, which was mentioned in one of the commandments.
Marina decorated the bottles of wine to emphasize the importance of the wine
on the table that is why the table looked really elegant. One of the men was
invited specially to read the benediction for wine and bread. The atmosphere
at Shabbat was really warm, ladies sang Shabbat song several times and danced;
on one word they felt like a big family. Actually women of the Community leave
Hesed very unwillingly because for many of them it is the only chance to contact
the outer world, and also they like to communicate with each other and with
the head of the Program Marina, come to the library, where they can get answers
of their questions and take the necessary newspapers and books.
