The director of Hesed was selected on a competitive basis on 24
April 2001. Olga Dergachyova, well known to Jewish Community, as a chairman
of Jewish Cultural Center became the director of the Hesed. The meeting of JCC
Board took place the same day, where Iosif Shpigelman was selected as an executive
chairman of JCC.
- FOOD PROGRAMS - monthly food sets; food delivered home. The head is M. Soldatkina
- HOMECARE - homecare staff cares after immobile Hesed clients.
- MEDICAL CONSULTATIONS AND MEDICATIONS - professionals' consultations and distribution
of medications.
- REHABILITATION EQUIPMENT - selection and distribution of equipment, teaching
clients to use it. The head is E. Kiryanova.
- SOS - urgent assistance to elderly people
- DSOS - urgent assistance to children
- WINTER RELIEF - winter support service (purchase of warm clothes, coal, firewood,
gas etc.)
- MOKED LA-KASHISH - assistance in everyday life
- VOLUNTEERS - there are 39 volunteers in the Hesed and JCC programs
