Shana Tova!
Rosn
Hashanah & Yom Kippur are the two greatest holidays of Jewish people when
one circle of our life ends and an other begins. In 2000 the New Year is coming
on 29th of September at night and the celebration finishes by the Day of Atonement
on the 9th of October. The faith that during Rosh Hashanah the God judges a
person & determines his fate in a coming year solemnizes this holiday. We
must beg pardon of those whose feelings we have hurt and pardon our own offenders,
we must make good deeds, remember those who are not with us any more. At the
same time the New Year is lightened by joy and happiness, it is usual to celebrate
it in a family circle sitting together at the holiday table that must be set
with traditional dishes symbolizing sweetness of a coming year: apples and honey,
round twist with honey. We cordially wish the New Year were happy, kind and
sweet for you.
