The Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan |
The dance ensemble of the Jewish Community in Pavlodar City is
very, very young, it was established in March 2001. But since that time a lot
of things were done. However, children have already studied nuts and bolts of
choreography. The participants study not only classic but also national and
modern dance. The most popular dances "Seven-Forty" and "Freilekhs"
were produced for a short term.
The money was found and magnificent costumes were sewed. How the
children were worried 2 months later before their debut! They felt responsible
for their first performance. It was not just the appearance on the stage in
front of parents and members of the community but there were representatives
from many National Cultural Centers of the City.
The audience applauded to the dancers and they were happy to see
faces full of enthusiasm (many of them saw Jewish dance the first time). It
was a reward for 2 months of hard work under the direction of Alla Vyshutina.
Then the youngest dancers had another performances: at the city
square on The Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan, at the Republican seminar
of the Small Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and during the celebration
of Shavuot…
And despite of school holidays the ensemble keeps training because
it has a lot of things to do. Good luck!
