Children program "Mazal Tov" celebrated the International
Day of Protection of Children on 1st June 2001. In the morning
of 1st of June about 70 well-dressed children and their parents gathered
near the park "Ak-Bota".
There was a manager to meet them, and he was accompanying
them all the way in the park and he always had some surprises for children:
free merry-go-round or additional time on a sideshow.
It was fresh in the park in comparison with the streets of
the city. Children and their parents were surrounded with the bright verdure
and flowers. All this made a really good atmosphere and festive mood.
The parents enjoyed sideshows with the children: jumped in balls, played
on swings and "Russian Hills". All together went around the
park on children train, and had some snack near the "Old Castle",
and then there was a quiz, where every child got a prize. The parents
always were with their children and got their prizes too.
But all good things never last long. It was time to go home
but nobody wanted to leave the park. That is why everybody was going slowly
and stopped to feed squirrels or to pat horses, or just to enjoy the nature.
Both children and parents tired but very happy left home.
