The famous poetess Ruth Tamarina celebrated her 80- anniversary
on 18 June 2001. In the Republican Jewish Library there was the regular
meeting dedicated to it. Professor Tamara Ilyina told about poetry and
the life of Ruth Tamarina; they are old friends.
There were Tamarina's poems read and they opened her inner
life for the listeners. Her poems tell about all her life: youth and opening
of the world, middle age and overcoming obstacles, declining years and
her thought about people and their lives.
