 In
June 2000 "Mazal Tov" program made its first step. It began with questionnaires -
by filling them out the parents expressed their opinion about the new initiative.
Their advices were of great help.
 During
three years "Mazal Tov" saw off to the first form about 80 children,
admitted over twenty new-born boys and girls, and provided assistance
to many poor families. Food packages, medicines, clothes, and of course LOVE
OF THE COMMUNITY - this is what we can offer to our clients.
And now we are already three years old. The director of Hesed "Polina"
Natalya Doman came to congratulate the program clients. She wished the guys
to grow up healthy, smart, and nice, and their parents - to love their
children as they are. After that everybody began congratulating each other.
  As
the celebration was held on Friday, we lit up Shabbat candles and read the weekly
Chapter of the Torah. Then the children and their parents were told a short
story "Jewish Way of Life" and explained the purpose of kippah.
Then the festive meal began. It was accompanied by children's songs
and poems. And after that it was time for outdoor games and The Best Dish competition.
The prize was divided between all the participants.
The celebration was very joyous and sweet. We hope, that future
"Mazal Tov" programs will be no less merry. Good luck, "Mazal
