The
atelier program founded and maintained by the Hesed "Polina"
volunteers opened four months ago. During this period they helped many
of the Hesed clients to get prepared to the cold season.
A week ago our free-will assistants started sewing costumes
for the "Rimon" JCC children. The first to wear the Hanukah
dresses will be the JCC dance group.
White
and blue silk decorated with goldish braid is meant to accentuate the
group's skills. Today the volunteers are going to have a fitting of the
first dress with an application of Hanukaih.
Of great assistance to the atelier are two new electric sewing-machines.
The volunteers say that those machines will allow them to turn the children's
costumes into fairy dresses.
