You
can open the door and plunge into a bright and colorful world full of impressions,
meetings, and interesting news. It is the summer camp for children from the
"Osher" creative center. Everything there is made for them -
attentive teachers and a psychologist, lessons of Hebrew, dancing, singing,
and computer studies…
"We've
been doing so many things! I can't even remember them all!", the children
say.
But
the camp is over and now the children must show what they have learnt. On July
20 "Osher" presented its final concert to the community. The concert
began with a film cut by the children themselves. It told about the whole life
of the summer camp - 2003.
When the film was over and applauses calmed, dancing and
singing began. Young actors sang in four languages - Yiddish, Hebrew, Kazakh,
and Russian. A Choir and a dancing group presented their own programs. Having
started this summer, they will be continued in the creative center.
Then
the children recited their own poems and a young violinist Misha Menshikov played
a melody "Freilechs". Everybody was awarded with diplomas and sincere
gratitude of the audience.
"The children showed us how to live, how to love
our people and culture", said the President of "Mitsva" Association
Alexandr Baron.
