Pavlodar
family club has gone out of town for a three-day trip. It
has become a good tradition - to go in the country to have a rest
and make the families more united.
A bus took us to the place. Each family represented itself,
showed sketches and sang songs. In the evening we gathered for Kabbalat
Shabbat. Everybody enjoyed the silence, fresh air, and unity with the
Tradition.
On
Sabbath morning we set off for a trip to the mountains. The children gathered
berries and climbed the rocks.
"We've seen a hare and even found snake's egg!"
shouted the children in delight.
And
the adults were simply admiring the nature. In the afternoon we gathered
again to chare our impressions and demonstrate our talents. There were
plays, staged fairy-tales, and songs.
"What I can say is that we are one family!"
- concluded one of the club members.
Those
words became the motto. In the evening we played football and other games.
Sunday was devoted to socialization in the families, and then full of
impressions and energy we returned home.
The families are grateful to JDC and Hesed "Rachel"
for the unforgettable rest. Though it lasted only for three days. But
the aim of the trip was extremely important - to make our hearts
bigger. All the warmth we found in each other we are going to give first
to our family, and then to the whole community.
