Friday the director of the Hillel in Middle Asia and Transcaucasia Eugene
Mikhalev and the head of Tashkent Hillel Eugene Zhavzie visited Almaty
to get acquainted with the Jewish youth movement in our country.
 For
three days the leaders of the Jewish students' organization tried to learn
more about life and needs of the Almaty "Rimon" JCC youth club.
After the round table discussion the guests conducted Kabbalat
Shabbat together with the "Rimon" guys. The next morning they
went sightseeing. During the tour Eugene Mikhalev and Eugene Shavzie discussed
the future plans of the youth movement in Kazakhstan.
The formal part of their visit will finish with a meeting
with the President of "Mitsva" Association Alexandr Baron.
