big festive concert dedicated to Hanukah is planned for December 21 in
the city drama theatre. The concert is arranged by the Embassy of Israel,
the Jewish Agency for Israel "Sokhnut", "Mitsva" Association,
"Rimon" JCC, Association of Jewish communities of Kazakhstan,
and "Habad Lubavitch" center.
The young members of "Osher" children's creative
center has been preparing to the concert for many weeks. They are going
to demonstrate their knowledge of Hanukah customs, acting, playing, and
drawing skills.
We had a chance to visit the dress rehearsal. Looking at all
those little stars of "Rimon" JCC we realized that the real
meaning of every Jewish holiday is a joy of creation and showing one's
talent, both for children and adults.
