It has become a good tradition for the Taraz Hesed to celebrate
all Jewish holidays in "Elba" cafe. And yesterday the cafe also
welcomed guests for Hanukah celebration.
 This
year the festival started unusually. The light suddenly went out, and
then a searchlight focused on a group of teenagers who performed a staging
about the Hanukah history. During several minutes the guests learnt many
interesting things about the bygone events.
When the performance finished the light was switched on and
the traditional religious part began - the blessings were read, Hanukah
candles were lit.
 After
the official congratulations the youth presented a festive concert. There
were Jewish dances, Hebrew and Yiddish songs about Hanukah. The veterans
forgot their illnesses and joined the youth in dancing and singing.
 Performance
of the "Edidot" women's club was very unusual. The inspired
women sang their own song dedicated to all the fair sex.
An exhibition of children's articles was presented at the
festival. Water-colors dedicated to Hanukah decorated the
walls.
The festival ended to the famous Jewish music, but
only in the cafe - Hanukah goes on in every Jewish home.
