One
more step on the way to reviving Jewish communal life in Semipalatinsk has been
made - opening of "Hot Meals" program. It is located in the same
building as a branch of the Republican Jewish Library. Now the clients are be
able to receive hot meals in a cozy canteen.
The experience of creating the same program in Ust-Kamenogorsk
was very useful. The Ust-Kamenogorsk JCC director Elena Levina came to Semipalatinsk
to share her experience.
Presently
the new service is able to provide tasty meals to 17 people. 6 clients will
be served there every day; others will be delivered hot meals home. And every
day the dishes will be different.
A chef with 20-year experience presented various dishes
to Ust-Kamenogorsk guests. They appreciated the food and were very
pleased with it.
