This time the visitors were presented Konstantin Kapitonov's
book "Israel through Its People".
"Israel through Its People" is a collection of biographical
essays about the main political leaders and significant figures in Israel.
There are chapters about the legendary Jews - the author of
"Hatikva" Naftali Herz Imber and a Russian officer Josef Trumpldor
who perished defending the families of Tel Hai locality in Israel.
Of special interest for Almaty readers was a chapter "They
Are Spoken Of".
The meeting was prepared and conducted by a volunteer of the
Republican Jewish Library Lubov Koretskaya.
