Keren
Pevzner is known in Isarel as an author of original Hebrew teaching methods.
She has been teaching Hebrew for about ten years, and many repatriates
are very grateful to her and her lessons.
Aside
from various dictionaries she has published such popular books as "Parallel
Ulpan", "May I Ask?", and "SuperSihon".
Keren has been working on her book "Jewish Names"
for several years. The book contains Biblical and Talmudical, ancient
and modern names, as well as borrowings from Yiddish. Each of the names
is translated and written in English and Russian transliteration with
a reference to the source and a brief historical data.
The author expresses hope that among 4000 names readers will
find something special for themselves and their children.
