Lion Feuchtwanger's life and creative activity became the
main topic of the lecture delivered in the Hesed "Natan" the
other day. The guests eagerly listened to the story about his novels.
Lion Feuchtwanger's books have always been popular in the
community. It was them who told the Soviet Jews who they are and where
they are from.
Feuchtwanger treated history as a fight between reason and
barbarism. That is why the heroes of his books were historic persons:
Walter, Bomarshe, Russo.
