IGOR GUBERMAN IN THE HESED "NATAN"

The small cozy hall of the Kokshetau JCC is full of people. Not only community members, but all worshipers of Igor Guberman's poetry have gathered here. The soiree-portrait was prepared by the librarian Lidiya Nyashina and volunteers of the Kokshetau branch of the Republican Jewish Library.

Igor Guberman's portrait is placed on the stage with an inscription "…the man who allows himself too much". The librarian is telling in detail about Igor's creative activity starting with his childhood. The guests are listening attentively, and occasionally interrupt the story with bursts of laughter.

This meeting is unlike the others. Before inviting the guests the library staff printed out several pages of quatrains, so that everybody could read out his or her favorite poem.

The meeting was so interesting that many of the guests wanted to stay and continue the talk. And so we went on with our endless discussion about Igor Guberman round the table over tea.
