 Interesting
and absorbing was a Kokshetau soiree dedicated to Efraim Sevela, a famous
author, scriptwriter, and film director. Among his books are "Ostanovite
Samolet, Ia Slezu", "Legendy Invalidnoy Ulitsy", "Zub
Mudrosti" and many others.
The meeting was prepared and conducted by a volunteer of Kokshetau
branch of the Republican Jewish Library Alla Zelenkova. After her inspired
and emotional narration many community members hurried to the library
to take Sevela's book.
In the middle of November the Hesed "Natan" library
staff is planning to arrange a Portrait soiree of Igor Guberman.
