  Several
days ago about 200 members of Kostanay community celebrated Rosh-ha-Shannah
5764. The guests were welcomed with the traditional greeting: "Leshana
tova tikatevu vetehatemu" ("May you be written and impressed
for the good year").
After the official opening of the celebration, the concert followed. Then
everybody was invited to the table laid in accordance with Rosh-ha-Shannah
tradition.
Hesed director Peter Rubinstein congratulated the guests. Mohel Timur
Gafurov said Mahariv prayer. Holiday candles and kind words warmed the
people on the rainy autumn day. Shana Tova!
