Outstanding children's poet and a talented teacher Vladimir Krasner
was born in Tulchin city of Vinnitskaya oblast. Having spent his childhood in
an orphan's home, he graduated from the literary department and entered the
journalism department of Kazakh State University.
Krasner's first book "House Warming" was published in
1978. Then there were "Capricious Sun", "How Much the First Grade
Weighs", "Lawn", "Glasses" and other collections. Vladimir
Krasner's poems make all generations laugh and cry.
He opened Literature to teenagers of late 80s - early 90s,
to the generation of changes that believed only in rock-music and shabby jeans.
He made them fall in love with the word. The literature club he leaded gave
birth to many famous journalists and literary men.
Guests of Hesed "Polina" Library Literature club, those
who read Krasner's poems to their children and grandchildren, were glad to learn
about the poet's life. One of his pupils, Konstantin Voskoboynikov, told many
interesting things about the master.
Every name is somebody's life, and a good word said about a person
will remain with us forever!
