Bohman's "Family Book" is a real windfall for the readers
of the Republican Jewish Library. In the book the author describes the
troubles of his unusual life. His reminiscences cover his impressions
from moving to Palestine in childhood and returning to the USSR, repressions
and war, as well as the post-war life.
"Jacob's Ladder" novel was written by a famous
Russian-Jewish writer Efrem Baum. He is a winner of the World Zionist
Congress prize, Israel President's prize, and Rafaeli prize. The book
is a part of heptalogy "Dreams of Life". It is concerned with
description of the events in the 60s, when the Soviet Jewry began to awake
and identify itself.
