 Macabiada -
sports competition - was held in the Jewish Community Center of Kostanay.
5 families took part in it. Hesed director Peter Rubinshtein opened the festival
and wished the teams good luck. So, the competition began!
The atmosphere in the gymnasium was surprisingly warm and friendly.
Everybody willing - children, mothers, fathers, and even grandmothers -
went out to the playground. It really proved that victory was not the main thing!
The competition began with a jolly relay race. Adults returned to
childhood, children felt themselves grown-ups. Then there was a contest for
the best rifle shooter. Male part of participant and spectators liked it the
best. The festival was concluded with darts shooting contest that delighted
children.
All teams got sweet prizes, there were no losers!
