the framework of OFEK 2003 the Jewish Culture Day was held in Pavlodar
city park. Hesed "Rachel" and JCC members told citizens about
Jewish history, culture and Tradition. The youth club members built a
symbolical Western Wall and presented a sketch "Five Fingers".
"Mazal" dance group performed the community's favorite dances
"Chiribom" and "Seven-Forty".
The festival managers paid special attention to WWII veterans.
They are numerous in the community. This year Pavlodar region is 65 years
old, and Jewish people made a great contribution in its development.
Such Culture Days are meant to tell people that the main wealth
of the nation is people and cultural legacy left by our forefathers.
