 In
the framework of OFEK 2003 "Kaleidoscope of the Beautiful" exhibition
was presented in Pavlodar. It included paintings and drawings of famous
artists, who made a significant contribution in Kazakhstan art.
 Special
emphasis was placed on Isaac Itkin's wooden sculptures. Passionate and
meek, furious and rapt images stroke the audience. The peculiarity of
his works is that the stuff is not finished, and faces seem to appear
from the wood.

Beregovaya's elegant sculptures were captivating as well. Her majolica
characterized the style of 40s and 50s. The museum made a present for
OFEK - several pictures by Moscow painters Igor Grabar and Max Birstein.
