literature club is a little monthly holiday for the Petropavlovsk JCC.
Community members eagerly visit the meetings. The last time the hall also
was full. Over 30 people came to a soiree dedicated to a famous scriptwriter,
penman, playwright, and publicist Arkady Inin.
The guests found out that Inin was the author of 30 famous
comedies, 15 books, and 200 radio- and TV programs. He was born on May
3, 1938 in Kharkov and graduated from a polytechnic college.
Besides for the author's biography, the guests were presented
some of Inin's short stories. They were read out by the volunteers of
the Petropavlovsk branch of the Republican Jewish Library Polina Grenader
and Tatyana Falaleeva.
The meeting will remain in the guests' memory for a long time.
