 The
last Friday before Shabbat a set for mini-synagogue was presented in the
Hesed "Efraim".
 The
religious program coordinator Igor Zhigarlovsky presented all the items
of the set and told about each of them. The Jews were happy to know that
besides for talit, tfilin, and mezuzah the set contains a kosher photocopy
of the Torah Scroll.
The Jewish community of Petropavlovsk expresses its hearty
thanks to the JDC and "Mitsva" Association for these items urgently
needed for the Jewish religious life.
