Pesach
Seder conducted this year will remain in my memory for a long time. It was the
first Seder in which I took part.
The atmosphere in the youth club disposed to meditation. The story
told by the leader - Misha Boguslavsky - brought back the history
of my people with its concerns, sorrows, and of course victories.
I saw that other guys who had visited Seders before understood Misha's
words very well, while I could only feel them. It was impossible to stay apart.
It seemed to me that my soul left my body and joined those who escaped from
Egypt many centuries ago. I felt nothing but admiration for the people who observed
commandments even during the war.
The
story about Elijah's cup told by Larissa Poltavskaya made us ponder a lot. It
had a deep idea - you must believe in the things you do and say, otherwise
they have no sense.
Generally, the Seder made me look differently at many things. It
brought peace and harmony to my soul. Besides, Pesach gave me something that
cannot be described with words. I believe you know what I mean.
