 A
seminar for database operators has gathered Hesed employees from Kazakhstan,
Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzia in Almaty. Lessons are conducted by Vlad Gubler (Israel),
Galina Chelokshaeva (Almaty, Kazakhstan), Valery Berkman (Almaty, Kazakhstan).
 The
seminar is expected to be very fruitful, because in fact the study has started
about two weeks ago. Now every seminar prepared by "Mitsva" Association
has its virtual pre-seminars and post-seminars. Before coming to Almaty DB operators
had to do three assignments, which they received by e-mail and through our web
site. Thus, the teachers could get an idea of their students' professional skills,
and plan the seminar in accordance with their strong and weak points.
 "Taking
into consideration that it takes most of the teachers thousands of kilometers
to get here, the groups must be best prepared to acquire new information,"
Distance Learning coordinator Natalya Alistratova says. "The seminar
will show how well we have coped with the task."
