FRIENDS MEET AGAIN

The small hall of "Rimon" JCC has hospitably accepted more than 50 people. It is significant that many young people came to the meeting. Boys and girls were eagerly arguing with their famous opponent. That was the way the meeting with the writer Dmitry Shchiglik began. It was the continuation of the virtual meeting arranged by "Mitsva" Association in July 2003. That video Internet conference devoted to Dmitry Shchiglik's book "Way to Zion" was the first one in the history of the Russian Jewry.

Shchiglik's firm viewpoint on the Jewry problems met the audience's response. The participants of the meeting received clear and irrefragable answers to their questions. Everybody agreed with Shchiglik's opinion, that "if each of us doesn't work daily and permanently, Israel will have difficult itme".

A delegate of the First Conference of the World Congress of Russian Jewry, a writer, and a candidate of science, Dmitry Shchiglik is a person waited by everybody. By his friends, associates, and even opponents. They wait for him to continue the dispute, to express their disagreement, or simply to ask for an autograph. They wait for him in Israel, Canada, Australia and Kazakhstan. They wait for him because he is a born orator, a witty, and well-informed person.

"The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev perfectly understands the problems of the modern world." Shchiglik says. "It is proved by the Congress of World and Traditional National Religions held in Astana last week. His initiative can help the humanity!"

The meeting in Almaty became a fascinating continuation of the acquaintance via Internet. But as usual the answers to the topical issues aroused new questions. That is why the new Internet meeting with Dmitry Shchiglik is going to be held in several months.
