To the blaring sounds of shofar did we celebrate Rosh-ha-Shannah.
The Jews of the whole world saw the New Year in. The ten days of awe came.
What
should one do during these days before Yom Kippur, how should kaparot
be observed and tzedakah given, what should be on the table and what is
the meaning of Kol Nidrey prayer?
The answers to these and other questions were given
on the lessons of the Jewish Tradition. They have been conducted during
the week after Rosh-ha-Shannah in the framework of Hesed religious program.
The lessons were presented for Hesed staff, volunteers, and
clients. Members of the youth, women's, and family clubs also joined them.
The Jewish community of Taraz has prepared to celebrate Yom Kippur with
dignity.
