 The
month of Tishrey has the largest number of holidays. They are: Rosh-ha-Shannah,
Yom Kippur, Sukkot, and Simhat Torah.
These days the Day Center members more carefully read the
weekly chapters of the Torah, visited a syngogue, and took part in a quiz
for the Best Expert in the Tradition and history.
The culmination of the Tishrey holidays was a visit to the
city park on Sukkot. The Day Center members had the necessary set of herbs:
etrog, lulav, hadas, and harava. The people's eyes shone with joy.
Good mood became a permanent companion of the Day Center.
It unites the community members. Today we are together, we are the Jews,
we have the Torah and the Hesed!
