This year the spring came to Almaty right by calendar, on March 1. Brooks started flowing, sunbeams became warmer, smiles appeared on the faces of children, teachers, and elder members of "Rimon" JCC.

  On Sunday, March 2 "Rimon" invited the children from Children's Creative Center and their parents to the Festival of Spring. No, there is no such holiday in the calendar. The Festival of Spring was invented and organized by restless staff and members of "Rimon" JCC. Merry, mischievous, and radiant, it warmed up the guests and made their hearts beat faster.

  Bag race, inflating balloons, jumping on one leg around JCC hall excited the children and exhausted their parents. In competitions and tests for the best orator, actor, presenter, expert in the Torah the parents' team lost and remained sitting among reservists.

  "The blind sprint" was something incredible - imagine concentrated faces of blindfolded parents trying to recognize their children's hands by touch, with their hands in boxing-gloves.

  The Festival of Spring brought immense happiness to the community. Children and adults made each other glad and became even closer.

Every day is a holiday, and every holiday is a day in the community circle - it is the motto of invented festivals!
