readers, as we have already told, you the "Shatil" children's
club members in Astana winter retreat began preparing to Tu B'Shevat.
For 7 days the children were told about its history and customs.
The acquaintance continued in a greenhouse in Zarechny village.
12 children saw with their own eyes lemon and orange trees growing. Summer
in the small "glass houses" struck the children, while it was - 30°
C outside.
The Hesed and JCC thank the greenhouse staff for the fruitful
cooperation. In addition to their friendly attitude they told the children
about their work and hothouse plants. "Shatil" children's club
will remember that trip for a long time.
