"Etgar" children's program is one of the most actively developing programs of Hesed "Sarah". By the time of its creation, 9 months later, there were 123 child- "Etgar" program's clients that needed social help and community involvement. Today this service works with 192 children.

   Etgar clients become active participants of community life. Having seen gratitude in the eyes of their parents and feeing warmth of other people, children try to take part in the organization of holidays; they become volunteers of library and other programs of Aktubinsk Hesed.

   In its turn Hesed tries to make children's life more interesting, full of events. Recently 9 children came back from "Ukon" sanatorium-preventorium where during 10 days they had been improved their health, communicated and found new friends. Due to the JDC help and initiative of "Mitsva" Association this trip was organized for children from unfull families and for children with chronical desease of upper respiratory tract.

  According to doctors form the preventorium, after passing a course of treatment, the children- "Etgar" program members significantly improved their health. And from the stance of "Sarah" Hesed workers the children became not only healthier, but could better understand each other.
