Songs in Yiddish… Dear nice songs, they evoke memories and tell about the forgotten singers and composers.

   To revive once popular melodies, Almaty "Shalom" family club decided to devote the next meeting to Yiddish songs. The soiree was possible due to the club elders Lubov Koretskaya and Lenina Matlina, who kept old gramophone records at home.

   The club members listened to songs by Sarah Fibich, Sidi Tal, Michael Epelbaum, Michael and Edit Utesovs, and Emil Gorovets.

   Inspired by the nice melodies, the family club members first joined the singers, and then began dancing.
