Robert Max and James Kerby - members of "Barbican Trio" - the most interesting musical group on the British Isles became the guests of the Jewish community of Kazakhstan.

Despite a lot of work, the musiciants worked as teachers and gave a big concert in State Philarmony. The British guests spent 2 hours in "Poilna" Hesed and "Rimon" community center.Aleksandr Baron,Kazakhstani Hasadim Board Chairman told the respectful guests about life of the Jewish community and the support to it from the side of the JDC.

Having looked around the Almaty community center and Hesed with great interest, the guests got acquainted with welfare programs, workers and volunteers. The musiciants said that they were glad to see a developing, purposeful and actively working community in Kazakhstan.
