"The beautiful Is Near" exhibition has opened in the Hesed "Polina"
show-room. It was arranged by the "Rimon" JCC. The author of
the photographs is a Hesed client Maina Kabirova.
In spite of her age Maina is an active member of the community.
She is a Day Center volunteer, "Ruth" women's club member, and
haunter of all the Hesed activities. And the community returns Maina's
affection. Her friends and admirers came to the exhibition opening to
congratulate the artist.
The exposition was divided into two parts. The first one presented Maina's
photo-declaration of love to Almaty, and the second one - admiration for
beautiful mountains near the city.
Maina's landscapes are full of life and light. Maybe that
is the reason why her photos resemble open windows. Since the moment she
took a camera, she could not part with it.
