Three days' seminar for Hesed religious program coordinators has started in Almaty. It is presented by AJJDC and "Mitsva" Association for representatives of 16 Kazakhstani towns and Bishkek, Kirgizia. The seminar is leaded by rabbi Meir Schlesinger.

   The seminar is devoted to the methods of teaching Breishit book. The official opening started with the speech of welcome said by the JDC country director in Central Asia and Caucasus Max Wiesel and the president of "Mitsva" Association Alexandr Baron.

   On the first seminar day the participants listened to two parts of Meir Schlesinger's lecture "Jewish History in the Torah". Then they discussed the issues concerned with such heroes of the Torah as Abraham, Sarah, and Isaac.

   The day finished with round table discussion.
